Here is a short video about how to install the Divi theme from Elegant Themes on your WordPress site. The divi theme is awesome, if you are a WordPress developer it is probably the only theme you will ever need. Even if you just want to use it for a personal site, Divi will make it very easy for you.
Right out of the box Divi and the Divi page builder plugin comes with a wealth of features and templates. From splash pages, product pages and shop pages, Divi has it all. All you have to do is import your photos and add text.
In the latest update Divi has introduced the visual builder. This enables you to do real time customization from the front end as well as the back end. For those that don’t understand, this means that Divi will you edit your page on the page preview itself. This is a huge time saver, previously you would need to make these edits with custom css. For those people that don’t know css this saves a real headache.
Over the past year doing freelance work, I have created about eight sites with divi. It has evolved from a good theme to by far the best WordPress theme I have ever worked with. I would encourage you to use it whether you are a pro designer or just starting out on your first website.
