Complete ecommerce WordPress website build using the Divi theme. Join us as we put together a complete online store using the fantastic Divi theme and woocommerce plugin. We start from scratch with a fresh WordPress install. From here we will be installing the fantastic Divi theme. After we have installed the theme, we will take a walk through and set it up for best use. What’s the theme has been installed and configured, we are going to add the awesome woocommerce plugin. Woocommerce is probably the only plug-in you will ever need for an on-line store. It is absolutely free. We will take you through the whole process of installing and configuring Woocommerce to sell products from your website.
Now that Woocommerce has been installed and configured, we can go about setting up off first simple product. A simple product is a product that only has one price and style. The next step is to setup and configure variable products. Variable products can have different sizes prices and colors etc…. Once you understand how they were they are fairly simple to set up.
Once the products have been added to the store, it is now time to actually create some pages so that we can sell the products. The Divi theme makes this really easy to do with the great shop module. In just a few clicks we can set up custom pages for our various product categories, and also our various product brands. Of course, we set up a custom shop page but has all our products on it also.
The next step will be to create an interesting-looking home page for a site. We take you through every aspect of this, including building pool with product sliders. Countdown sale timers, product sales sections, Stat and info counters. We will also animate the backgrounds of several of the sections to make them more eye-catching for our viewers.
In the next phase we will create some custom product pages and some custom cart and checkout pages. This gives a store a unique identity rather than just using the default woocommerce pages provided.
We are now almost done, we just need to add a few finishing touches to the site, such as; creating a privacy policy page, a returns policy page, and of course a contact us page that has a form that can be filled out by all visitors.
Now that all the pages have been created, we simply need to create a menu to tie them all together, and a site is finished, ready to Launch and start selling products. That is it you have now got a complete ecommerce WordPress website build using the Divi theme.
